I had a lot of good feedback from my ‘March Favourites’ post… so I thought I would do one for April too.
Here are my top 5 favourite buys for April!
This Bardot Body is much nicer in person than it is on the website. I stumbled across this in the Oxford Circus store and thought it might come in quite handy on my ski holiday and also in the Spring. Suitable to wear with just about any style of jean, skirts and shorts… I have zero regrets purchasing this and have already worn it about 5 times.
THE COLD SHOULDER
This Cold Shoulder Knitted Top didn’t look much on the hanger… but when it’s on – oh my god. It has been a total go-to this month. The cut out shoulders and crochet look makes it totally acceptable to wear in the summer too. It’s received plenty of compliments and is easily worn with jeans and skirts. Don’t miss out on this little beauty!
MAD FOR METAL
Another dreamy purchase. The Metal Yarn Choker Knitted Top. I bought this a size smaller than I usually would since it looked like quite a big fit on the hanger. The quality of this top is gorgeous – in person its a mauve/pink colour with a bit of a shine to it. I paired it with a pair of black skinny jeans and a belt – see below for the belt.
I am really into belts at the moment. To the point where I won’t buy a pair of jeans or a skirt unless they have belt loops on them. A belt can really be the finishing touch to an outfit – so I think it’s important to have options.
This Western Buckle Belt is apparently VERY popular in Topshop – listed as a trending product… and I can totally see why. I got a Gucci belt for Christmas and I tend to alternate between my Gucci belt and this Western Buckle one every day. I actually think I like them equally.
I spotted this White Floral dress in the MissGuided concession in Selfridges in Trafford Centre. The MissGuided selection in there is really good. It’s nice to be able to try things on and check out the quality of an item instead of the fuss of sending things back. I know the weather isn’t suitable to be wearing a dress like this just yet… but I couldn’t not get it. I didn’t want to risk it selling out or never seeing it again since I was drawn to it from so far away (the entrance of Selfridges). I’m already really excited to wear it this summer!!
It’s really flattering and is low cut with trumpet sleeves – it’ll look really good with some nude/pink heels.
So there you have it, my April favourites. It seems I spent a lot of time in Topshop this month… but in my defence, I was shopping in the Oxford Street store and was spoiled for choice!! PLUS I am still making up for lost time since I didn’t shop there for over 6 months whilst living in Stockholm.
